IT built for the firms that design and survey Tulsa.

NSN Management is the Tulsa IT and cybersecurity partner for architecture, engineering, and surveying firms. We deliver flat-rate managed IT, BIM/CAD-performance operations, project-deadline awareness, and NIST CSF-aligned security for firms with 10–100 users since 2012.

What you face

Three pressures unique to design firms.

Generic MSPs handle generic businesses. Your firm runs on file sizes, deadlines, and workstations they don't see.

🗂

Files that crush generic IT

A 5 GB Revit central model. A federated Civil 3D drawing with twenty xrefs. A point-cloud survey. The generic file server, generic backup, and generic 1 GbE network most MSPs deploy were never sized for the work you do.

Bid days are non-negotiable

When the submittal is Friday at 5 p.m., everything matters — plotter queues, ProjectWise check-in, sheet-set output. Most MSPs don't know which projects are in the deliverable window. We make a point of knowing.

🖥

Performance is the product

Your designers and engineers spend their day inside Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and the Adobe stack. A workstation that's 20% too slow costs you a full hour per person per day — and you never see it in a help-desk ticket.

What we deliver

Specifics for AEC and surveying firms.

Not a generic 'managed IT' brochure. Capabilities written for what your team actually does each day.

BIM / CAD performance

File-server sizing, 10 GbE where warranted, BIM-aware backup, GPU-correct workstations. Tuned for Revit central files, Civil 3D federated drawings, and ProjectWise sets.

Design-software expertise

Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Inventor, BIM 360, MicroStation, ProjectWise, Trimble Business Center, SketchUp, ArcGIS Pro. Vendor escalations and licensing.

Remote workstation access

Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Parsec-style remote design workstations. Tuned configurations for multi-office and remote-designer workflows.

Project-deadline awareness

We know your bid days. Tickets touching plotting, ProjectWise, or sheet sets jump the queue. We avoid planned maintenance in the 72 hours before a submittal.

Security & NIST CSF

Role-based access, encrypted file shares, MFA, DLP on data egress. NIST CSF alignment that maps to the confidentiality clauses you sign.

Quarterly business reviews

Your vCIO meets with leadership every quarter — risk register, roadmap, budget. No surprise IT line items at year-end.

Common questions

Answers for design firm leaders.

Do you support BIM, CAD, and the file sizes design firms actually work with?

Yes. We design and operate environments for the file sizes that crush generic networks — multi-GB Revit central models, federated Civil 3D drawings, ProjectWise document sets, point-cloud surveys, and high-resolution renderings. That means proper file-server sizing, 10 GbE backbones where warranted, BIM-aware backup strategies, and workstations specced for the actual model your team has to open.

Which design and engineering applications do you support?

We support the platforms used by Tulsa AEC and surveying firms — Bluebeam Revu, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Inventor, and the BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud stack; Bentley MicroStation and ProjectWise; Trimble Business Center, TBC Office, and SketchUp; Esri ArcGIS Pro; Adobe Creative Cloud. Vendor escalations and licensing administration included.

Can you handle remote model-server access for distributed teams?

Yes. We deploy and operate Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Parsec-style remote workstation solutions for firms whose designers, drafters, and engineers work from multiple offices or remotely. Properly tuned, remote access to a 5 GB Revit model is workable — but the configuration is unforgiving, and most generic MSPs get it wrong.

What about project deliverables, plan-sheet QA/QC, and the bid-day rush?

We treat the days before a major submittal the way a CPA firm treats April 15. Engineers know which projects are in the deliverable window. Tickets touching plotting, ProjectWise check-in, or sheet-set output skip the queue. We avoid planned maintenance in the 72 hours before a stated bid day for any client who tells us about it.

How do you handle the security side — design data, surveying data, client confidentiality?

We architect environments with role-based access, encrypted file shares, MFA on every external-facing service, and DLP controls on data egress. Most firms also benefit from NIST CSF alignment — a flexible cybersecurity framework that maps cleanly to the kind of contractual confidentiality obligations AEC and surveying firms commonly sign.
